Cool, foggy mornings on the hillsides of Limerick Lane in the northern end of Russian River Valley lend bright acidity to this Zinfandel. Here, Gary Schmalzriedt grows grapes that perfectly express the lighter, delicate characteristcs of Zinfandel grown in a cool climate.
Tasting Notes: A uniquely delicate Zinfandel with bright notes of cherry and rose hips that encompass the glass. Beautiful concentration and rich mouthfeel are expressed with a touch of allspice and brown sugar. Flavors of succulent pomegranate and wild blueberry compliment the aromas. Balanced start to finish with moderate acidity paired with lustrous tannins.
